About Acta Anatomica Sinica

Acta Anatomica Sinica, founded in 1953 by Chinese Society for Anatomical Sciences, is one of the foremost comprehensive journals in the category of anatomy science in china.

So far, Acta Anatomica Sinica has already won many awards, including:

·        The second prize of Chinese Leading Academic Journal Award in 1997,

·        The second and the third prize of Chinese Science Association Leading Academic Journal Award in 1992 and 1997

·        Three times of Fund Subsidization Award of Basic and High Science and Technology Academic Journals by Chinese Science Association.

·        Ranked the first in basic medical science in the Overview of the Main List of Chinese Core Journals (2000), selected by Beijing University Library and other authoritative organizations.

As a world-class academic journal, Acta Anatomica Sinica features on multiple topics including original research articles, reviews, new technologies and methods, commentaries, brief reports, publishing news and book reviews in anatomical sciences, which are presented in both Chinese and English.           

1.           Focus and Scope:

This journal focuses on advances related to anatomical sciences, including cytology, molecular and cell biology, histology and embryology, neural biology, macroscopic anatomy, comparative anatomy and anthropology, etc..

In addition, this journal also reflect the current advances in human genome project, DNA chips, cellular signal transduction, apoptosis, stem cells and disease-related genes, especially oncogenes and antiongenes, central nervous transplantation and regeneration, basic research of brain-aging, etc.

All manuscripts in curated collection are selected and managed by the journal’s editors according to our standard procedure (refer to the Submission Guideline). We are commited to rapid dissemination of important research results. Articles are published on a continuous basis to ensure swift communication of findings.
